One Piece or Two Piece Track

The Silent Gliss 6243 can be supplied as one continuous length up to 600cm (6 metres). Any track ordered over 600cm will be supplied in two equal sections, allowing longer installations to be accommodated.

For lengths exceeding 600cm, the two sections are installed end to end, with the cut ends butting directly against one another.

There is no connecting piece or joining component supplied with the two-piece version. Each section is fixed independently to the ceiling timbers, with the ends carefully aligned during installation to create a continuous curtain channel.

The central join will remain visible where the two sections meet. Careful alignment is particularly important to ensure the gliders can travel across the join as smoothly as possible, although a slight sound may be heard as they pass between the two sections.
