The Elvora 28mm 3 Sided Bay Curtain Pole Kit is designed for three-sided bay windows and is suitable for eyelet curtains using a four-curtain-panel arrangement.

This kit is supplied in individual components and requires measuring, cutting and assembly during installation. It is not supplied as a pre-assembled or made-to-measure bay pole.

The kit is supplied with four 125cm curtain poles. Two poles are joined using the supplied internal connector to create the centre section, providing a maximum length of 250cm. The remaining two poles are used for the left and right sides of the bay, providing a maximum length of 125cm on each side.

All four poles are supplied at their maximum length and must be measured and cut down to suit your individual bay window. A fine-tooth hacksaw is recommended for cutting the poles. The centre section of your bay must not exceed 250cm, and each side section must not exceed 125cm.

Six wall-fix brackets are supplied with the kit. The brackets have an adjustable projection of approximately 90mm to 130mm and a 50mm backplate. At least 50mm of suitable wall space is required for installation. The brackets should be positioned close to the finials, corner joints to provide suitable support.

The brackets are designed for wall fixing only and are not suitable for ceiling fixing. Wall fixing screws and wall plugs are not supplied, as the appropriate fixings will depend on your wall type. An Allen key is supplied for tightening the grub screws and securing the ball finials in position.

Important Information for Eyelet Curtains

This kit is designed to be used with four separate eyelet curtain panels. Please note that this refers to the number of curtains required, not the number of window sections. The kit is designed for a three-sided bay window consisting of a left, centre and right section.

Eyelet curtains cannot pass through the support brackets or around the corner joints. Each curtain panel will therefore remain within its designated area and can only be drawn along the pole between the relevant brackets. There will be a gap at the corner joint area.

For this reason, the kit is particularly suitable for decorative or display-style curtains where four separate curtain panels can remain positioned around the bay.

The adjustable corner joints slot inside the curtain poles and allow the pole to follow the shape of your bay window. They can accommodate different bay angles, including approximately 45° and 90°. The corner joints are designed to remain flexible and are not screwed or locked permanently into a fixed angle.

The maximum combined curtain weight for the complete pole system is 11kg. We recommend checking the combined weight of all four curtains before installation.

Please carefully measure all three sections of your bay window before ordering and check that the available pole lengths, bracket projection and four-curtain arrangement are suitable for your requirements.

Adjustable Corner Joints

The corner joints are designed to remain flexible and are not fixed or locked into one position. The arms will feel loose when handled, allowing them to be adjusted to the angle required for your individual bay window.

Once inserted into the curtain poles, position each joint to follow the angle of the bay. A support bracket should be fitted close to each corner joint to support the pole and joint once installed.

Please note that the loose movement of the corner joint is intentional and is required to allow the joint to accommodate different bay window angles.

Delivery Information

This kit will be delivered in two separate consignments using two different couriers. The curtain poles will be dispatched separately from the smaller components and accessories.

As two different couriers are used, the parcels may arrive on different days or at different times. Receiving one parcel does not mean that any components from your order are missing. Please allow for both deliveries to arrive before checking the complete contents of your kit.
