Silent Gliss 6840 Track Connecting Bridge

The Silent Gliss 6840 Connecting Bridge is designed to join two straight sections of Silent Gliss 6840 curtain track in a linear installation. The bridge aligns the profiles accurately and provides structural stability where tracks are supplied in multiple sections.

When a connecting bridge is used, the join consists of two cut track ends butted together without a cover. As a result, gliders may produce a slight audible “click” when passing over the joint. This is a normal characteristic of joined tracks and does not affect the strength or functionality of the system.

For smoother curtain travel across the join, roller gliders are recommended where compatible, as they pass over the connection more freely than sliding gliders.

Connecting bridges are typically used for long track runs, wide windows, or where access restrictions make it impractical to supply or install the track in a single piece. For the best visual and operational results, the join should be positioned centrally where possible and supported in accordance with Silent Gliss fixing guidelines.
