Glider System

The Silent Gliss 1280 curtain track is supplied with a dedicated roller glider system designed to provide smooth and reliable movement for heavier curtains.

Roller Gliders (3922) – these wheeled gliders allow curtains to move freely and smoothly along the track. The roller design reduces friction and makes the system particularly suitable for heavyweight curtains, ensuring consistent and effortless curtain movement.

This glider system is designed specifically to handle heavier curtain fabrics and longer track lengths while maintaining smooth and dependable performance.

Bracket Options

The Silent Gliss 1280 curtain track can be installed using several bracket options depending on the installation requirements and the clearance needed from the wall.

Ceiling Fix Bracket (3603) – allows the track to be mounted directly to the ceiling for a clean and discreet installation.

Standard Wall Fix Bracket (3630) – projects 35mm from the wall, providing a compact installation suitable for most situations.

Long Wall Fix Bracket (3655) – projects 50mm from the wall, offering additional clearance where required.

Extra Long Wall Fix Bracket (3660) – projects 85mm from the wall, ideal where curtains need to clear radiators, window handles, or deeper window boards.

These bracket options provide flexibility for different installation scenarios and help ensure curtains hang correctly and operate smoothly.

One Piece or Two Piece Track

The Silent Gliss 1280 curtain track can be supplied as one continuous length or in two pieces depending on the size ordered and installation requirements.

If the two-piece option is selected, the track will be supplied in two equal sections along with a connector to join the two pieces together during installation. The central join will be visible as it consists of two cut ends meeting together without a cover plate. This does not affect the strength of the track, although gliders may produce a slight sound when passing over the join.
