Rothley Eclipse Shade 25mm Ball 3 Sided Bay Curtain Pole Antique Brass

The Rothley Eclipse Shade 3 sided bay window curtain pole in antique copper at 25mm pole diameter with ball finials, will work perfectly well in a bay window with 2 inside corners at a 45 degree angle.

This bay set is sold as a complete kit supplied with a pair of ball finials, 3 poles at 120cm, 2 corner joints, 5 wall brackets and 30 rounded rings.

The Ball finials are slotted into position by firmly pressing this into the pole. No screw fixing is therefore required. Please note the finials can fall out if a bracket is not positioned correctly near to it.

There are 3 poles supplied at 120cm in length and all poles can be cut down to size using a fine-tooth hacksaw or pole/tube cutter. Making this the perfect bay kit for a small window. 

There are 2 corner joints supplied in this kit which easily slot into the poles on each end of the joint. The joints are adjustable and therefore can be moved to fit inside the corner of the bay. It is not recommended for use at a 90 degree angle as the rings will struggle to glide past. Only works best at 45 degree angled bays.

The 5 wall fixed brackets are not adjustable as they are at a fixed position of 113mm. The back plate is 95mm in length and this is fixed in position with 2 screws. The pole is slotted into the bracket arm and kept in place by the plastic insert so therefore no screws are required to fix the pole in place. Since only 5 brackets are required to secure this pole set, we advise placing them strategically so the rings can freely move inside the bay. Of the 5 brackets, we advise placing 1 in the middle of the bay, and the remaining 4 at the ends. We advise having the 2 brackets on the ends of the bay at least 15 cm apart to help stabilise the bay pole structure. 

The 480cm kit are supplied with 4 poles at 120cm length. You are expected to connect 2 of the poles together using the pole connector (inserted inside the 2 poles) to provide you with a length of 240cm for the middle bay window.  All poles will need to be trimmed down to size.

Please note, the screw holes will be seen in the bracket provided and the screws are supplied in this kit as silver. 

This bay kit diameter is 25mm and this is in reference to the pole diameter.

The rings are coated inside with white plastic nylon enabling a non-scratch movement across the pole.

We recommend using a light weighted curtain on this pole set at a weight of 8kg only to help keep the pole stabile during movement.

We advise not to use eyelet curtains as the eyelet may scratch the upper side of the pole and cause the paint to eventually flake off.
