How to Shop
Our site has been designed and created to be as simple as possible to use. This section provides some simple tips on how to search, browse and buy your favourite curtain pole.

Searching
If you know what you are looking for, the quickest way to find it is to search for it. The ‘Quick Search’ box is at the top of every page. Simply type the name of the range or product you are looking for into the box and click ‘Go’.
A golden tip: keep it simple. You will get the best results if you enter just one or two keywords from the name of the range or product.
The 'Curtain Pole Finder' is a broader way of searching, but will provide you with a variety of curtian poles that meet your criteria. Simply select a finish, a diameter and price range. The 'Curtain Pole Finder' can be found on the left and side of every page.

Browsing
Browsing can be a very effective way of finding your perfect curtain pole - be it by quickley filtering through the options or by stumbling across your ideal pole through the list pages.
The main area of the site for browsing is shown at the top left of every page in the 'Browse Categories' section. Simply click on a category tab to be taken to the category home page.
Once you have chosen a category, you can then choose a range by clicking one of the options at the bottom of the page. Or you can view all products within the category by clikcing the 'See All Products' link.
For example, you can narrow down your browse criteria in Metal Curtain Poles by choosing 'Metal Curtain Poles', then clicking 'See All Metal Curtain Poles'. This will give you a list which can then be filtered by finish and/or diameter.
Using the filter options will rapidly focus your product results, helping you find exactly what you want.

Buying
Making a purchase at curtainpolestore.co.uk is easy and secure.
- Choosing an item
When you find an item you want to purchase, click the 'Buy' button. The item will be added to your 'Shopping Basket' which can be found on the right of the page.
- The Checkout
When you are ready to buy, click the 'Checkout' button in the Shopping Basket. You will then be asked for your billing and delivery details, before clicking 'Make Payment'
- Paying for your item
In the next stage of your purchase you will be transferred to the Paypal payment pages which are safe and secure. Note the https:// in the address bar at this point confirming the secure server. Enter your details, click 'Pay' and you have completed your purchase.
Delivery Policy
Delivery usually takes 3 working days and is free on orders over £50.

Delivery charges
- All orders over £50 will be delivered FREE of charge.
- All orders £25 - £50 will be charged at £4.50.
- All orders under £25 will be charged at £7.50.
This applies only to orders delivered to UK mainland addresses.

Delivery times
Delivery usually takes 3 working days from date of posting, unless otherwise stated on individual product pages. Delivery may take longer if circumstances beyond our control disrupt postal services.
Sometimes an item may be out of stock and delivery times will be longer. We will contact you if this is the case.
We use carriers and always require a signature when the goods are delivered. Please advise us if any days are unsuitable so that we can despatch as appropriate. Repeated delivery attempts will be charged at £10.50 for each attempt.
Delivery will be between 9am and 5pm, but unfortunately we cannot determine an accurate time.

Why we don't have a telephone contact
We do not offer a telephone service for any sales enquiries. This is so we can keep our costs down, and offer the most competitive price on the Internet.
We want to be as efficient as possible, offering you great products at amazing prices. By investing our efforts in making your shopping experience with us as streamline as possible, we have tried to make as much information as possible available to you online.
Returns Policy
Our returns policy is valid for 7 days from receipt of an item.

Faulty / damaged / incorrect goods
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. Should any item be delivered incorrectly or in a damaged condition please notify us by email within 3 days of reciept.
The goods must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt with all original packaging included.
We are not liable for any external costs you may incurr as a result of receiving faulty/damaged/incorrect goods.
Depending on which you prefer we can either replace the goods or refund the cost of the goods and postage costs incurred. The only exception to this is made to measure items or special orders, which will always be replaced. The replacement or refund will be done upon receipt of the returned goods and satisfactory checking of the goods.
Please note that slight colour variations are not considered a fault. For example, our wood poles are made from various types of wood depending on our suppliers, and applied with a finish to give the desired effect.

Returning an unwanted item
Please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the goods to let us know you are returning any items. This should be done via email.
We will need to know your order reference, the name of the items you are returning and the date you ordered.
We will then inform you of where to return the item(s) to. Please note that goods will not be accepted back into stock without prior approval.
If you would like us to arrange the collection and use our carriers a charge of £20.50 per parcel will be applied.
Goods should be returned within 7 days of receipt with all the original packaging.
Any items returned will be inspected before a refund is given.

The information we will need to process your order includes your name and address, your phone number and email address. We DO NOT receive your credit card details. Our payment solutions provider, Paypal, processes your details on our behalf.

When you enter our competitions, we ask for your e-mail address to administer the competitions and notify all winners.

We will then provide you with details on making a £10 payment through Paypal to cover our administration costs before sending out your information.

Entry to competitions is voluntary, and you are under no obligation to take up an invitation from us to enter.
